Tenders are invited for Recruitment of a Consultant for Research and Improvement of the UNICEF Workspace in N'Djamena (6 weeks).

How can you make a difference?
§ - Estimate any renovation needed to adjust the specific needs of the office and quantify the corresponding costs §- Identify monthly rents § - Analyze the different options and propose a selection of relevant offers of opportunities § - Advise UNICEF for the most appropriate opportunity; §- Prospect and identify land for the construction of UNICEF premises.
EXPECTED PRODUCTS: §- Realization of prospecting visits § - Submission of reports of visits and analysis of opportunities in terms of rents, available space and equipment and estimate of possible renovation works §- Identification of monthly rents according to selected buildings §- Negotiating the amount of the rent / lease contract §- Analysis of the different options and proposal of a relevant selection of opportunities; §- Advice for the choice of the most relevant and suitable opportunity for the UNICEF office. ? - Writing and submitting a monthly activity report to the supervisor
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
· Postgraduate Diploma in Civil Engineering; in architectural drawing or other similar qualification
· Good knowledge of the city of N'Djamena;
· At least three years of experience in management / supervision of infrastructure construction projects, reconstruction and logistics planning, management, monitoring and evaluation or a related field. Professional experience in a corporate real estate program would be an asset;
· Knowledge of various applications related to architectural drawing;
· High communication and relational skills;
· Good oral and written expression in French (oral and written);
· Ability to conduct negotiations;
· Proven probity and ability to resist pressure;
· Applications must be submitted together with a technical offer and a financial offer.
