Tender Details

GABONunder the authority of the Regional Director of the Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator in Libreville, the Administrative and Financial Assistant (e) is responsible for providing general administrative servicesrative and financial resources for the implementation of Program activities, and if necessary, other projects of the UNODC Global Maritime Crime Program (GMCP). The Administrative and Financial Assistant ensures quality and precision work, in accordance with the rules and regulations.UN procedures. He/She contributes to an environment in a spirit of collaboration and customer satisfaction. The Administrative and Financial Assistant supports the implementation of GMCP program activities. He/she notably supports the procedures for calls for tenders at the endthe regional level, the systematic and organized documentation of the actions carried out, ensures the monitoring of the payment of service providers, the drafting and sending of letters. He/she contributes to the facilitation of programmatic execution by following the procedures in force and using the mechanisms andtools of the United Nations Secretariat. The Financial Assistant will work in close collaboration with the administrative and financial staff of the UNODC Regional Office in Dakar, headquarters in Vienna, as well as with the staff of the UNDP operations in the region, in a spirit of efficiencyacity, effectiveness and coherence. The duration of the mission is six (06) months, renewable if funds are available.
