Reconstruction of the Neutor Tower in Arnstadt - structural planning Structural planning The Arnstädter Neutorturm was badly damaged in a fire on April 14, 2024. The tower dome was completely destroyed. The aim of the planning is to rebuild the tower as well the implementation of a concept that will make the Neutorturm accessible to tourists in the future. Im Rahmen der Gesamtplanung sind sämtliche baulichen, innenarchitektonischen (Ausstattung und Lichtplanung), statischen sowie gebäudetechnischen Aspekte (EMA, BMA) zu take into account. The requirements of fire and monument protection as well as the concerns of the user must also be taken into account within service phases 1-9 according to HOAI.
