Tenders are invited for Realization of the Solar 1000 Mw Project.

OBJECT

1. The "Solar 1000 MW" project consists of the constitution of Project Companies (SPV) responsible for carrying out a project of photovoltaic solar power plants with a total capacity of 1000 MWp distributed over the Algerian national territory in lots of 50 to 300 MWp each, and whose completion schedule is specified in the documents of the Call for Tenders to Investors.

2. The sites intended for the installation of installations for the production of electricity from renewable energy sources will be made available to the project companies, by the Algerian Company of Renewable Energies called "SHAEMS, Spa",

The Algerian Company of Renewable Energies "SHAEMS, Spa" is charged by the Minister of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies, with the processing of the Call for Tenders for Investors of the Solar 1000 MW Project, in accordance with decision n ° 07 of the November 28, 2021, for the preparation and processing of the call for tenders to investors, for the realization of the said project, in accordance with the following provisions:

o The Project Companies will be responsible for the development, financing, design, supply of equipment, construction, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic solar power plants, construction of evacuation facilities and connection to the electrical networks of the said power stations as well as the marketing of the electricity produced from these power stations, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in Algeria as well as the provisions of the contractual documents.

o The SHAEMS company will join in this Project with the selected Investor by taking a stake in the share capital of the Project Companies, either alone or in association with public and/or private companies. The photovoltaic solar power plants of each Lot will be developed by the Project Company awarded the lot concerned.

o The electricity produced will be marketed through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), entered into for an operating period of twenty-five (25) years for each of the power plants, between the Project Company and the Designated Purchaser.
