Tenders are invited for Realization of National and Regional Multisector Diagnostic Studies in the Volta Basin - Pagere

While summarizing the state of knowledge with a clear description, they should also be analytical
in order to determine precisely the framework of the challenges and opportunities of the following
sectors: (i) Water resources and management of sub-watersheds, (ii) Human dynamics and forms
of occupation of space, (iii) Agriculture, (iv) Livestock, (v) Fisheries, (vi) Energy, (vii) Mines, (viii)
Drinking water supply and Sanitation, (ix) Forestry, (x) Health, (xi) Environment and Eco-tourism,
(xii) Transport, (xiii) Communications, (xiv) Commerce, (xv) Industry and crafts, etc. The tasks
(without being limiting) expected from the Consultant for each of the fifteen (15) sectors listed
above in each of the six (06) national portions of the basin and while taking into account GENDER,
are:
take stock of the sector;
inventory the constraints, challenges and development opportunities;
draw up strategic orientations;
highlight the links with the rest of the national territory as well as the rest of the Volta basin.
In addition, the consultant will have to make a Regional Synthesis from the six (06) national
studies by deepening the analysis made in these national studies
