Object of the contract
Hamburger Hochbahn AG intends to optimize passenger information with regard to its bus fleet. For the optimization of passenger information, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) has launched the "Digitalisation of Urban Transport Systems" funding program as part of the "Clean Air" emergency program. For this project has the hamburgerHochbahn AG submitted a request for funding to the responsible authority. In the funding period until the end of 2020, Hamburger Hochbahn AG intends to complete the installation and commissioning of such facilities in 650 buses. Independently of this promotion, a further equipment of the entire bus fleet is planned. The procurement project "Digital Passenger Information System" for buses is being negotiatedprocedure with qualified tenderers. The award will take place in 4 phases, with phase 1 divided into 4 stages again. In the qualification system there will be a pilot phase in phase 2. The pilot phase involves the equipping of up to 6 vehicles / vehicle types with the digital passenger information system. For the execution of the pilot operation will be maximum5 participants allowed. In the case of a complete order, it is possible to equip another 650 buses with the digital passenger information system.
