With the conversion and renovation of the student residence at Plauener Weg 8 on the Erfurt campus, 230 living spaces are to be renovated, based on the needs of the students. According to ThürBO 2014 § 50, the apartments are barrier-free. All Living spaces are accessible to all students. The building is used exclusively for residential purposes with a high proportion of single apartments with their own sanitary facilities and kitchenette as well as two-room apartments, each with its own bathroom and shared kitchen.
