Type: powder fire extinguisher, Capacity: 2 kg of fire extinguishing powder, Housing pressure: about 1.6 MPa at 20 °C, Operating time: up to 10 seconds, Charged weight: about 3.5 kg. The fire extinguisher consists of a metal body, shut-off and starting device, siphon tube and sprayer. After pulling the pin and pressing the lever, compressed gas (usually nitrogen or air) forces the powder under pressure through the nozzle. The powder composition isolates the burning surface from oxygen and stops the combustion reaction. Model OP-2 is recommended for use in cars.
