Lots: Sand - In 1 bag, 50 kg of sand must be clean, dry, free of impurities (clay, stones, shells) and meet safety standards (GOST 8736-93, SanPiN 2.4.1.3049-13). Optimal characteristics: particle size (fraction) 1-2 mm, light yellow or white color and sanitary-epidemiological tests. River or washed quartz sand is recommended. Hygiene (safety): sifting, washing sand, should not contain harmful bacteria, dangerous impurities (sulfur, coal). Humidity: When sand is dry, it should be loose, and when wet, it should hold its shape well (normally) when purchasing sand for playgrounds (especially in preschool institutions), the seller must provide a quality certificate or passport confirming compliance with sanitary standards rules and regulations and its safety for children.
