Its main technical characteristics include active chlorine content (minimum 35-65% depending on the brand), molar mass (not less than 142.98) g/mol, solubility in water and non-flammability during independent reaction, but high oxidizing activity upon contact with flammable substances. The substance is a strong oxidizing agent and disinfectant used for water disinfection, bleaching and other industrial needs.
