List of services Delivery must take place in the calendar year 2026. The required specifications of the complete system (new device) are listed below listed Device requirements The X-ray photoelectron spectrometer measuring system (XPS) must have a micro-focused, monochromatic Al K X-ray source with a spot size of 10 - 400 µm that can be adjusted in at least 5 µm increments and a 12 keV Operating voltage operated electron source. The maximum power with a 400 µm spot size must be at least 120 W and operation must be secured via high voltage, cooling water, vacuum and mechanical interlocks. The aluminum anode must be water-cooled and have a motorized ability to move to more than 20 operating positions. The spectrometer used must have a double-focused 180° hemispherical analyzer with a minimum radius of 125 mm and a position-sensitive detector use at least 128 channels and measurement linearity up to 6.5 Mcps. The operating modes must be constant analyzer energy, XPS mapping by scanning with the X-ray microspot, snapshot mode (live spectrum within the detection channels) and imaging mode (lateral intensity distribution at a given photoelectron energy) can be selected.
