The United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) Offices in Liberia hereby calls for “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST” (EOI) from reputable business entities, registered locally or internationally, and who have the capacities to provide each of the categories of goods and services
All EOIs must include the following information where applicable:
a. Cover letter, including a brief on the category of goods and services you can provide.
b. Certificate of business registration (legal registration) and tax clearance.
c. Profile of the firm/company.
d. Indicate the scale of the company-s contracts for the last three years.
e. Business physical and postal addresses, contact persons, and telephone numbers/email addresses.
f. Business ownership (names of the Directors/Proprietors).
g. Letter of recommendation from your banker regarding your financial credibility
h. List of main clients including physical locations, contact persons and telephone/email contacts.
i. Curriculum vital of Senior Management and Technical Staff; as well as the list of employees of the firm, professional and technical, with their qualification and experience.
j. Letter of reference from two previous or current clients.
k. Distribution and location network of the company.
l. Any other relevant information (excluding financial bids).
UNWFP shall pre-qualify business entities whose expression of interest shall meet the requirements for the provision of each category of goods or services and such pre-qualified business entities shall be invited to submit their financial bids where necessary.
NOTE:
▪ Companies must have the requisite experience and proven technical and financial capacity for the areas of preference and preferred level of engagement.
▪ The “Expression of Interest” MUST EXCLUDE THE FINANCE BID which shall be requested at a later stage only from business entities whose “expression of interest” will meet UNWFP requirement”. Any EOIs submitted with the “Financial Bid” at this stage shall be considered “INVALID”.
▪ EOIs should be submitted along with all legal supporting documents to WFP Liberia Office (see full address further below) not later than Monday, 7 September 2020 at 4:00pm. Any requests for clarification about the contents of the Prequalification Application Document shall be sent via email to [email protected]. Such request for clarification should be sent no later than three days before the closing date above. No phone calls will be accepted.
All shortlisted submissions would be qualified to participate in future competitive bidding exercises conducted by the Bidding Committee of WFP.
EOIs must be signed, stamped and sealed in envelop, addressed, marked as hereunder and submitted to the address below.
