The company was established to undertake the exploration, extraction/exploitation and commercialization of strategic mineral resources that can be found underneath the territory of Rwanda. Later on, the exploration of petroleum and gas in lake Kivu was introduced on its portfolio. Now NML specializes in minerals, petroleum and gas exploration with an objective of extraction, processing and commercialization of extractive products that provide the founding pillars to revolutionize the attractiveness of sector potential and projecting its ultimate contribution to the development of the country.
