The United Nations (UN), represented by the UN Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), invites qualified companies to submit an expression of interest for the provision of Unarmed Security Guard Services for the UNSMIL mission in Libya.This exercise is being conducted in accordance with Category Management (CM) approach approved by UN Headquarters in December 2021. Eligible UN Entities that wish to utilize the Services under this Contract will establish a separate contract with the Contractor under the same terms and conditions of the resulting Contract, including the agreed pricing. The company must be appropriately licensed as a private Security firm and a Security Services Provider in Libya to provide security services in guard services, escort services, electronic surveillance, investigations. Detailed Scope will be provided to shortlisted companies through a Request for Proposal. Specific Requirements/InformationThe Contractor-s Guards shall perform the following duties (these functions are generic and may not be applicable to all locations, compounds, or premises):1. Physical Checks/ Prevention of Unauthorized Entry: Maintain physical control of all access points to/from the entity-s premises or Eligible Staff Members- residences, 24 hours, 7 days a week.
