TERMS OF REFERENCE (ToR) FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO TRAIN BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MANAGEMENT ON SUCCESSION PLANNING (14 MEMBERS) 1. Introduction TIMB is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to train its Board of Directors on succession planning. This initiative aims to ensure a structured and strategic approach to leadership transitions within the organization. 2. Objectives of the Consultancy The main objectives of the consultancy are: To enhance the Board-s understanding of the importance of succession planning. To equip the Board with practical tools and best practices for effective succession planning for TIMB. To develop a framework for leadership transition within the organization. To align succession planning with the organization-s strategic goals and governance principles. 3. Scope of Work The consultant will be required to: Conduct a needs assessment to determine the specific training requirements. Develop a customized training module on succession planning for the Board of Directors. Facilitate a training workshop covering key aspects of succession planning, including leadership development, risk management, governance, and sustainability.
