The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) is seeking for qualified companies for the provision of door-to-door Inland transportation and related services. Contractors will be required to provide inland transportation service by road, provide Material Handling Equipment (MHE), associated labor, warehousing and yard storage, temporary bonded facilities for cross-border movements, customs clearance, and close liaison with various Government authorities to support inland movement of cargos.UNSOS seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified vendors with experience in thefield and fully licensed to provide the service to UNSOS.UNSOS plans to award contracts against which task orders are to be issued from time to time, on a competitive and on need basis. During the first quarter of year 2026, UNSOS anticipates awarding of 3-year contracts with option to extend for two additional one-year extension periods.The detailed scope of requirements will be provided at the solicitation stage which is planned to be issued by early September 2025.
