2. Objectives of the Project
The development objective of the Cabinda Province Agriculture Value Chains Development Project (CPAVCDP) is
to contribute to food and nutritional security, employment generation and shared wealth creation along the
commodity value chain. The specific project objectives are to increase farmers’ food and nutrition security and
incomes through increased agricultural output and value addition. The Project will also contribute to enhance income
of small and medium enterprises engaged in input supply, production, processing, storage and marketing of selected
commodities on a sustainable basis.

3. Objectives of the Services
The overall objective of the services is to provide a sustainable financing facility to the 8000 beneficiaries for the
development of agriculture value chains for the selected commodities in Cabinda Province.
4. Scope of the Services
The Financial Institution will be responsible for the following:
i. Financial management, timely disbursement and recovery of the loans. The Loan seed fund is US $ 4,
000, 000.00 and the loans will be administered to small farmers, fish farmers, merchants and savings groups.
The loans will be administered through loan revolving account to be opened by the Financial Institution.
ii. Checking and processing applications for loans.
iii. Management and monitoring of the performance of the revolving loan fund.
iv. Provide customer service and loan follow-ups through its branches and agencies established in the four
municipalities of Belize, Buco-Zau, Cacongo and Cabinda.

Non submission of any of the above requested documents will be deemed to be non-responsive to the Call for
Proposals and will be rejected. Interested Institutions may obtain further information at the address indicated below
