Commissioning the provision of an e-health platform for the PEDNET-LC The subject of the award procedure is the provision, introduction, operation and further development of a cloud-based telemedicine platform for the PEDNET-LC project. The platform is intended to serve as a secure, standardized and clinically proven overall solution for the telemedical networking of the institutions involved in PEDNET-LC and in particular the structured recording, sharing and forwarding patient-related data as well as communication between service providers and with patients. PEDNET-LC is a newly established, interdisciplinary pediatric network for the care and research of children and adolescents with Long COVID-like illnesses. In particular, post-infectious diseases caused by SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus, Epstein-Barr virus and other pathogens are covered. In the future, those affected with complaints after vaccinations should also be included and children and young people with ME/CFS are cared for via the structures to be established, regardless of the respective trigger. The project is designed as a nationwide association of clinics and research institutes.
