Description : The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) has a requirement to provide dust suppresant fluids in Somalia. UNSOS operates its aircraft to app 120 locations within Mission AOR with majority being services by Rotary Wing aircraft. The climate of Somalia has very distinguished dry and wet seasons. The remote Helicopter Landing Sites (HLS) become very dusty during dry season affecting the safety of flight operations or causing in deviation of flights to alternative locations increasing the cost of support of Mission mandated tasks. In order to mitigate the dust condition in main HLS with Mission AOR (mostly collocated with AMISOM Forward Operating Basis), UNSOS is locking for a Vendor producing and/or distributing Dust Suppressing Fluid meeting below requirement. The detailed technical requirements shall be provded in solicitation documents to short listed companies
