Description:

1. The UNPD Regional Procurement Office (RPO), on behalf of Peacekeeping Missions in Africa ( MONUSCO, UNSOS, UNISFA, MINUSCA, UNMISS, UNAMID and MINUSMA) intends to establish the contract for the periodical supply of ceramic wall and floor tiles, tile adhesives, tile grout compounds under the Regional System Contract to designated areas in Africa. 2. The Following are the statement of requirement to be performed by the Vendor: 2.1 Ceramic wall tiles include sizes of; 200x200mm and 300x200mm thickness 6mm, 300x300mm and 200x200mm, thickness 8mm. Floor Tiles (non-skid) include sizes of; 200x200mm, 300x300mm light grey and and white, thickness 10mm. Related Supplies include; Adhesive, Grout and white cement to be delivered together with Tiles on DAP terms locations for United Nations Missions in Africa; 2.2 The unit of measurement for respective items shall be according to the unit provided in the bill of quantity. Bidders price shall include the price of the product, cost of packaging and delivery at DAP locations; 2.3 All components of the supply under the proposed contract shall be either delivered in optimized truck loads or shipped in 20 feet ISO sea containers either new or one voyage sea containers. UN will not retain these containers used for delivery of the materials. 2.4 Gross weight of each 20-foot ISO Sea-Container and optimized truck load, duly packed shall not exceed 9 metric tonnes and 8 tonnes respectively. 2.5 The packaging for ceramic tiles shall be arranged in Cartons and approximate weight and volume of each Carton shall be 0.5 to 2 tonnes to fit a complete number of Cartons into each 20’ ISO Sea-Container or in to a Truck. 2.6.The delivery time shall be less than 6 weeks after mission call off, DAP locations as specified. 2.7 The period of contract shall be for two years, with possibility to be extended for additional period of three years one year periods.
