Description:

1.1 UNPD Regional Procurement Office (RPO), on behalf of MONUSCO hereby invites qualified vendors to submit their Expression of Interest for the provision of car wash and cleaning services for vehicles in Entebbe Support Base (ESB) for the contract period initially of 1 year with the option to extend for two additional 1 year periods. In general terms, the successful Contractor shall provide qualified personnel, equipment, tools and consumables for the purpose of car wash and cleaning services for a total of: • 92 Light passenger (including VIP) vehicles • 35 Trucks • 15 Minibuses (12-seats) • 26 Trailers • 17 Material handling and Engineering equipment • 3 Medium buses (26-seats) • 2 Heavy buses (52-seats) Please note that Quantities provided are estimates. 1.2 The required Services include the following: • Detergent cleaning and pressure washing of light vehicles outside; • Vacuum, detergent cleaning and pressure washing of light vehicles inside and outside; • Detergent cleaning and pressure washing of mini bus outside; • Vacuum, detergent cleaning and pressure washing of mini bus inside and outside; • Detergent cleaning and pressure washing of medium bus outside; • Vacuum, detergent cleaning and pressure washing medium bus inside and outside; • Engines and under carriages will be cleaned with pressure washing and detergents upon request. 1.3 The service(s) may be required three (3) times a week for each of the above mentioned vehicles and Engineering equipment in order to support operation at ESB. 1.4 The vehicles and equipment need to be washed within a maximum possible time of 30 to 60 minutes each as required. 1.5 The Contractor shall offer two (2) options for the car wash facilities; • Car wash service facilities provided by MONUSCO at ESB. • Car wash service facilities provided by the Contractor outside the ESB, maximum distance of five (5) km from the MONUSCO ESB.
