Provision of Calibration and Maintenance Services of Laser Speed Detecting Equipment to the Botswana Police Service


Presidential Directive 13(B) 2013; The Local Procurement Scheme is in line with tire Citizen Economic Empowerment (CEE) Policy and section 66
(3) of the PPADB Act, both which advocate for the economic empowerment of women, youth and people with disabilities in general and specifically
in the rural areas.
Bidders shall attach relevant documentation for the entitlement to tire scheme, (Omang) National Identity and supporting letter from the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development. At price comparison, the bidder who falls within the target group should be given an outright15% price preference margin in the open tender.
The physical address for collection ofTender Document is: Traffic Headquarters (Broadhurst Police Station), Plot No. 17432, Tsholofelo, Office No. 021, Lekgarapana Road, Gaborone.

Documents may be collected during working hours from 0730 hours to 1630 hours on weekdays with effect from 13th January, 2020. A non-compulsory pre-tender meeting with representatives of the Procuring Department will take place at Traffic Headquarters (Broadhurst Police Station) on 31st January, 2020, starting at 1000 hours.

A non-refimdable deposit of P250.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Pula only) payable in cash to the Government of Botswana shall be required on collection of documents. Youth companies are to pay half, that is, P125.00 (One Hundred and Twenty-Five Pula only). Payment of tender will be made at Traffic Headquarters, Traffic Finance Office, Office No. 021, (Broadhurst Police Station).
A Two-Envelope Procedure will be followed.
