Expression of Interest are invited for Provide Consultancy in Gender Action Plan Implementation

The specific objectives of this assignment will be as follows:
i. To undertake a diagnostic study on women in renewable energy in Zambia;
ii. To develop a database of women in renewable energy;
iii. To facilitate the creation and launch of the women in renewable energy network;
iv. To facilitate the creation of annual newsletter of the women in renewable energy
highlighting achievements of women in the sector;
v. To train women and disabled persons in business development services;
vi. To facilitate dialogue and advocacy with financial institutions and beneficiary companies
for internships for women in renewable energy related institutions;
vii. Capacity building for institution on gender mainstreaming

The implementation period is eighteen (18) months.
MoE now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consulting firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
