The Munich University of Applied Sciences is planning an energy-efficient facade renovation an existing building (W-Bau) from 1954 on the main campus of the Munich University of Applied Sciences. The energetic renovation of facades will most likely be supported by funds from the European Union (ERDF funding, European Regional Fund Development). This is a special building in accordance with Article 2 Paragraph 4 BayBO. The building is a listed building. The windows in the W building are dilapidated and need to be replaced. The energetic renovation of the windows was carried out as part of a feasibility study examined in advance. An extensive inventory was drawn up, coordination was carried out with the State Office for Monument Preservation, building physics calculations were created (heat bridge calculation, hygrothermal simulation) and a rough cost estimate compiled.
