The World Bank is seeking a firm to use the approach of Species Threat Abatement and Recovery (STAR) in conjunction with the development of an ecosystem index to identify opportunities for improving positive biodiversity outcomes in WB landscape investments in Madagascar. The objective is to develop better understanding of how WB investments such as climate smart agriculture and forestry in productive forest landscapes can lead to positive biodiversity outcomes in two landscapes. The approach will enable a quantification of biodiversity impacts in integrated landscape projects with possible application to other WB investments in Madagascar.
