GENERAL NOTICE OF PASSATION THE MARKETS (AGPM) BURKINA FASO ELECTRIFICATION PROJECT OF THE PERI-URBAN AREAS OF OUAGADOUGOU AND BOBO-DIOULASSO (PEPU) Project Code: BFA0233 Burkina Faso has obtained an amount of thirty-seven (37) million US Dollar in the form of a loan from the Islamic Development Bank forto anchor the electrification project of the peri-urban areas of Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso. Project Objectives The overall objective of the project is to improve the living conditions of the populations in the cities of Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso and Koudougou as well as in the localities of the Plateau Central, North Central and Sahel, through access to reliable electricity through the expansion and strengthening of transmission and distribution networks. The project will include the following components: Component A: Electrical Networks. This component includes: a) MV and LV networks: Thisthe subcomponent includes: the acquisition of equipment and (i) the construction of 145 km of MV lines in Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso and Koudougou; (ii) the construction of 725 km of LV lines in the said localities and (iii) the installation of 71 MV / LV transformer stations with power ranging from100 to 400 kVA and a 15 kV source station of 14 cells. b) HV networks: This subcomponent includes: the acquisition of equipment and (i) the installation of 35 km of 90 kV dual-drier aerial line between Kossodo and Ziniare; (ii) the installation of two additional traves at the Ko HT substationssodo; and (iii) the construction and equipping of a new 2x25 MVA HV substation at Ziniare. (c) Connecting households: This involves the supply of connection equipment including meters for the connection of 35, 000 households. d) Acquisition of maintenance equipment and materialse: This subcomponent consists of the acquisition of equipment and tools for operation and maintenance. Component B: Consultancy Services Consultant services include supervision and control of the work and training. Training activities include formatsions in network maintenance. Goods markets The procurement of electrical meters and connection equipment, equipment and maintenance equipment will be carried out by international competitive bidding (ICB) limited to companies from member countries, without prequalificationification. Works contracts Procurement of the works for the extension works of MV / LV distribution and extension of high voltage electrical networks will be done by international call for tender (AOI) limited to companies of the member countries, with pre-qualification.
