The subject of this award procedure is project management for the areas of action A - E in project stages 1 to 5 according to AHO for the "Replacement John F. Kennedy Bridge" project. The services include thus the complete support of the replacement construction of the John F. Kennedy Bridge throughout the entire project period.
It is located east of the English Garden and crosses the Isar in the north of Munich and its flood bed on both sides in the districts of Schwabing-Freimann and Bogenhausen. The structure was built between 1961 and 1963 and consists of two parallel belts of prestressed concrete hollow girders, which have two lanes in each direction and separate lanes Transfer walking and cycling tracks to the outer caps. The spans of the three-span bridge are 34.00 - 68.00 - 29.00 m, the total span is therefore 131 m. The total width between the handrails is 24.50 m. According to the construction manual, the bridge was last built at the end of the 1990s modernized.
