The project goal is to expand the Open Source cryptob library Botan for further procedures of post-quantum cryptography and the integration of post quantum procedures into the library's x.509 certificate module. Maintenance and maintenance work should also be carried out. To implement are the multitreee variant of xMSS, xMSS^Mt, and the codebasoned KEM HQC. The latter is to be implemented in the memory -proof programming language Rust. In addition, Botan's x.509 certificate module must be expanded to expand quantive certificate formats so that the certificate chain validation for quantity-proof x.509 certificates.
