Description: The aim of the project is to develop a client application that enables secure 2FA via FIDO2 by using the cryptographic functions of TPMs. In order for the use of the FIDO token to meet the high security requirements, a cryptographic service provider light based on the functions of the TPM must first be designed and developed in accordance with the protection profile BSI-CC-PP-0111-2019.
This also includes a security analysis in which the functionality of the TPM used and the secure connection to the application are examined.
This is followed by the development of the FIDO client, which exclusively uses the crypto functions of the previously developed TPM-CSPL.
