The Government of the Republic of Mali has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank to cover the cost of the Program of Improvement of Agricultural Productivity of Smallholders in Sub-Saharan Africa (SAPEP), and intends to use part of the sums granted to finance consulting services.

The National Project Coordination SAPEP invites eligible microfinance institutions ("Consultants") to express their interest in providing the above services. Interested Consultants must provide specific information demonstrating that they are fully qualified to perform the services (documentation, reference of similar services, experience in comparable conditions, availability of adequate skills among their staff, etc.).

The criteria for shortlisting are:

· Level of coverage of the project intervention area (Kayes, Koulikoro and Sikasso);

· Proposed Islamic financing products tailored to the needs of the target group, especially women, and which are in accordance with the rules and principles of Islamic finance;

· Experiences and intervention strategy of the institution in the access to Islamic financing of small producers and agro dealers in SAPEP intervention zones;

· Compliance with negotiated margins / profits for SAPEP beneficiaries;

· Existence of minutes of the General Assemblies.

Key Personnel will not be evaluated at the Redeeming List stage.
