The Rheinbahn area is responsible for planning, operating and maintaining rail vehicles and buses. The Rheinbahn plans the introduction of a modern workshop management system (WMS) in order to pursue the following details:
1.Digital possibilities for Example the order disposition and to plan the use of resources as well as the vehicle and material disposition.
2. Mobile processing of maintenance work (execution of work orders and feedback performed).
3. Owners by mobile data acquisition of the Reduce order data.
4. Eliminate errors and disorders from the maintenance process, e.g. by double and/or manual data input.
5. Location processes accelerate through digitization of the technical documentation.
6. A transparent database to derive automated reports create in maintenance.
7. The automatic exchange of relevant data with SAP must be ensured (see also application / database / system4.1), whereby the WMS should be a supplement to the leading maintenance system SAP.
8. The WMS is said to be developed through a Rheinbahn GUI verfuegen
The WMS should enable a flexible, modularized implementation approach, so that after implementing the core functionalities, further functionalities can be successively supplemented. Als Projektsprache wird deutsch vorausgesetzt.
