Tenders are invited for Procurement of Works for Supply of Additional Machinery, Equipment and Rehabilitation, Construction of Agro Centers under Food Security Project.
1. The Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland has received a Line of Credit from the Export?Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) towards financing the cost of Turnkey Project for Ensuring Food Security Through Increased Maize Production in Swaziland (by Agricultural Development & Farm Mechanization) and intends to apply unutilised part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply of Additional Machinery, Equipment and Rehabilitation of Agro Centers under Food Security Project in Swaziland.
2. The Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland, now invites sealed bids from Indian entities for ‘Supply of Additional Machinery, Equipment and Rehabilitation of Agro Centers under Food Security Project in Swaziland’.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the applicable procedures for procurement of the Government of Kingdom of Swaziland (“Procurement Guidelines”).
4. Bidders may obtain a complete set of bid documents from the Ministry of Agriculture at the address given below from 08:30 a.m. t o 0 1:00 p.m. and f r o m 0 2:00 p .m. to 0 4:00 p.m. (Local Time) Monday to Friday starting from August 17, 2018 on payment of a non?refundable fee of US$ 1, 000 (United States Dollars One Thousand only) payable in equivalent local currency in any Government Revenue Office account no.: 201/1101/21990. The method of payment will be by Cash, Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of 'Ministry of Agriculture, Mbabane, Kingdom of Swaziland'.
The tender document can also be sent by DHL courier for overseas bidders who send a crossed Bank Draft of USD 1, 0 0 0 (USD One Thousand only).

5. This invitation is limited to Indian entities registered in India and/or

incorporated/established under any law in force in India.

6. All Bids in one (1) original plus five (5)copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain

envelopes must be delivered to the address below on or before September 07, 2018, at

14:00 hrs, local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives

who choose to attend at the address below.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of USD 20, 000/? (United States Dollars Twenty Thousand only) in an acceptable form mentioned in the bid document and shall have to be valid for Twenty?eight (28) Days beyond the validity of the Bid. If the bid bond is given by an International Bank, it shall be supported by a local Banking Institution.
8. Late Bids, portion of Bids, electronic Bids, Bids not received, and the Bids not opened at the Bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
