Procurement of Supply of Different Water Regulators (Gates, Pipes), Spare Parts and Workshop Equipment.
The Ministry of Finance & National Economic - Republic of Sudan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Rehabilitation of New Halfa Agricultural Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply of Different Water Regulators (Gates, Pipes), Spare Parts and Workshop Equipment
The Eastern Sudan Reconstruction and Development Fund (ESRDF) now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for Water Regulators, Spare Parts & Workshop Equipment which mainly include:
• Steel Pipes, Steel Pipe’s Gates, Spare parts for Pipe’s Regulators, with different dimensions,
• Movable Weirs Gates "M.W", Spare parts for Movable Weirs, with different dimensions,
• Roller Sluice Gates "R.S.G", Spare parts for Roller Sluice Gates R.S.G, with different dimensions,
• Workshop Equipment (Centre lathe m/c, Milling m/c, Shaping m/c, Drilling m/c, Electric Welding m/c, Diesel Welding m/c- portable diesel, driven, Grinding m/c, Power Hack Saw m/c, Shearing m/c, Pneumatic hammer, Hydraulic Press, Compressor, Generator set, Grinding machine mobile, Drilling m/c mobile, etc.)
The tenderer has to have a specific experience to execute the works in an existing wet condition. The delivery/construction period is 9 months from the commencement date of the work.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding limited to IDB member countries (ICB/MC) procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing [May 2009, Amended February 2012], and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Eastern Sudan Reconstruction and Development Fund (ESRDF) at the address below during office hours. 09:00 to 16:00 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application “signed by the authorized person†to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 500US$ “Five hundred United State Dollarâ€. The method of payment will be in cash, or direct cash deposit to account number 2538 in Faisal Bank El Riyadh Branch, Khartoum Al Mushtal Avenue in the name of the Rehabilitation for New Halfa Agricultural Project. The document will be handed to the bidder’s authorized representative or send by airmail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier for local delivery.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 75, 000 US $ (Seventy Five Thousands United State Dollars) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency, and be delivered to the address below by 12:00 pm on 31.10.2016. They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
