BackgroundSTMA in collaboration with her project implementing partners have received funding from the European Union under the ‘Local Authorities: Partnership for Sustainable Cities ‘aimed to promote integrated urban development through partnerships built among Local Authorities of the EU Member States and of partner countries in accordance with the 2030 Agenda on sustainable development. The Assembly intends to apply part of the funding to establish a model farm for Urban Agriculture and train small-holder vegetable farmers, unemployed women and youths, as well as vulnerable households including fisher folk on urban agriculture techniques under the action Twin-Cities in Sustainable Partnership Project (TCSPP).
