The aim of the tender is to obtain licenses to set up an event streaming platform in the hybrid cloud of the Deutsche Bundesbank (BBk). The solution should be in the BBk public cloud based on Microsoft Azure and in the private cloud The BBk (own data center) is set up and operated. The solution is characterized, among other things, by the synchronization of selected topics, which enables access to the event streaming platform even when using the hybrid cloud distributed IT landscape always implemented locally within your own cloud environment. The solution used must be based on the open standard Apache Kafka for compatibility and reduction of vendor lock-in risks. Obtaining rental licenses for an event streaming platform Rental licenses are to be obtained for setting up and operating an event streaming platform in the BBk hybrid cloud. The software must be in the Bundesbank's private cloud on a RedHat OpenShift cluster and in the Public cloud can be operated on ARO (Azure RedHat OpenShift). In addition, the solution should have a schema registry that can be accessed via (REST) interfaces and an API gateway (Apigee). The software can be used via the CI/CD pipeline BBk can be installed.
