Rental licenses are to be obtained for setting up and operating an event streaming platform in the BBk hybrid cloud. The software must be able to be operated in the Bundesbank's private cloud on a RedHat OpenShift cluster and in the public cloud on ARO (Azure RedHat OpenShift). In addition, the solution should have a schema registry that can be accessed via (REST) interfaces and an API gateway (Apigee). The software can be installed via BBk's CI/CD pipeline. For authentication and authorization, the connection is made to the private cloud the BBk IAM (LDAP, Active Directory) or the Entra ID of the BBk in the public cloud. Data synchronization at topic level can be set up between the solution on the public and private cloud. To ensure digital sovereignty and implement a multi-cloud strategy The Bundesbank reserves the right to use the acquired licenses to set up and operate the solution with any cloud service provider.
