The Government of Cabo Verde, represented by National Directorate of Industry, Commerce and Energy, announces the competitive procurement process under the Decree Law 01/2011 dated 31st January 2011 “Promotion, Incentives, and Access to License and Operation of Independent Power Production of Electricity” (as amended by Decree-Law nº 18/2014 dated 10th March 2014, and the Decree-Law nº 54/2018 of the 15th of October 2018) and in this respect the following pre-qualification procedure.
The subject of procurement notice is to launch an international open competitive bidding process mobilizing private sector developers, to design, engineer, construct, commission, finance, own, operate and maintain a 10 MW Wind Power Plant as Independent Power Producer under a BOO (Build, Own, Operate) scheme on Santiago Island, Cabo Verde.
