As part of the strategy of the universities of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg for the high performance computing and data intensive computing, the IT infrastructure of the LARGE Scale Data Facility (LSDF) is being renewed and expanded for the federal storage of research data. It will be a storage systemwith a total capacity of at least 16 PB and a flash memory content for a performance animal and metadata with at least 800 TB. An existing storage system based on "IBM Storage Scale" is expanded. Due to the requirements of the approval process for large devicesthe maximum available funds for investment costs (i.e. procurement costs without the costs for the guarantee, support and maintenance for over 5 years) are limited and end at EUR 1, 700, 000.00 (including VAT or comparable, customs and anySconti). Offers that exceed this limit cannot be taken into account. Calcularly specified VAT and customs fees are part of the limit. For the required scope of guarantee, support and maintenance over 5 years, a separate offer position isto be listed and the associated costs. This position is commissioned in the event of the contract. The costs for this position may correspond to a maximum of 25% of the investment costs and go into the evaluation with.Facility
