With this procurement procedure, the GZO intends to procure a patient portal (hereinafter also: "PP" or "patient portal") as an overall system (possibly consisting of different modules) including implementation and system service services. With the introduction of the patient portal an improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of all recording and treatment processes is to be achieved. With a project conclusion, the patient should be involved in the clinical processes and support work steps and decisions.
Procurement of a patient portal on Health Center Odenwaldkreis
The Health Center Odenwaldkreis GmbH (short: "GZO", hereinafter also "client" or "AG") based in Erbach is a regional health center that combines various medical facilities under one roof. The Erbach district hospital has above 344 beds and includes nine specialist departments, including internal medicine, trauma surgery and orthopedics, general and visceral surgery, gynecology and obstetrics as well as the Center for Mental Health.
Every year around 11, 000 inpatient and 12, 350 outpatient Treated patients. The psychiatric department, the Center for Mental Health, has 50 inpatient beds and also offers a day clinic with 15 places and a psychiatric institute outpatient clinic (PIA) for outpatient treatments.
