Tender Details

The Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG) is the federal government's scientific institute in the areas of hydrology, water use, water quality, ecology and water protection. The BfG houses the “Water Science Department The Federal Central Library (GWZB). As a special academic library, it supplies federal and state institutions with specialist literature and information. The GWZB requires a discovery for BfG employees and external users Service (DS), with which the GWZB's holdings and external thematically relevant databases can be searched in a comprehensive central search engine index. The DS must be provided by the contractor as a cloud service in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model become. The DS offers BfG employees the opportunity to conduct research in scientific journals in addition to the GWZB holdings, as well as access to the available full texts for subscribed journals receive. Users must be able to send order requests to the GWZB by email. The GWZB employees maintain the catalog of the existing library management system (Integrated Library Management System, ILM) via file upload or via Data interface into the DS.
