Procurement of deployment and operation of a Big Blue Button video conferencing system environment including technical support The School Portal Hessen (SPH) is the central educational platform provided by the state for Hessian schools. Currently are Approximately 1, 120, 000 users registered. The school portal consists of a central login as identity management with single sign-on (IdM), a learning management system (LernSys), the central web interface for educational organization (PaedOrg), the Education server (BS) and an on-premise solution for managing educational networks in schools (PaedNet). Since September 2022, users have been able to use the open source video conferencing system (VKS) Big Blue Button via the Hessen school portal, which has been fully integrated into the user interface in PaedOrg. In order to ensure that the use of the VKS is data secure, the planning and registration of video conferences is not done via a link, but entirely via the user interface SPH. What is required is the provision of the Big Blue Button (BBB) video conferencing system on an infrastructure that allows up to 30, 000 users (concurrent users) to participate simultaneously in basic operation and up to 300, 000 users in expanded operation Video conferences are possible without reducing performance (see section 4.2).
