Tender Details

The procurement includes delivery, installation, commissioning and operation of the C-ITS on-board units. The aim of this project is, among other things, to ensure the long-term control of public transport traffic lights (LSA) using C-ITS. This requires 395 lanes and Buses and 16 commercial and historical vehicles will be equipped with corresponding C-ITS on-board units. C-ITS on-board units enable standardized communication based on ETSI-G5 or cellular-based technologies (C-V2X) and support relevant message formats such as SPaT, MAP, CAM and SREM/SSEM. These standards ensure that vehicles can interact with various LSA components across manufacturers. Therefore, as part of the procurement process to pay particular attention to compliance with current C-ITS standards, interoperability requirements as well as certification and security requirements. After the overall acceptance, the long-term operability and reliability is C-ITS On-board units are ensured over a period of ten years through regular maintenance work, timely repairs and continuous system updates, so that communication between public transport vehicles and the infrastructure can continue over a longer period of time Works stably and reliably over a period of time.
