EWR_BESS1 - Battery storage systems Procurement of battery storage systems The contractor will develop the concept for setting up up to three "stand-alone" battery storage systems (7 MW) and obtain all necessary permits, contracts, Reports as well as other documents, services and all rights necessary for the construction and operation of a battery storage system. In the following, the contractor delivers and installs the systems and provides services for a period of 10 Years of comprehensive maintenance of the systems. For the BESS output of 7 MW, the client reserves the right to decide to commission either a 2-hour system (14 MWh) or a 3-hour system (21 MWh). Therefore both are design variants to offer completely. The systems should, if possible, be constructed within a period of 12 months after the contract has been awarded. The exact date of commissioning will be the subject of negotiations. EWR GmbH reserves the right to provide partial performance for two of the to transfer up to three battery storage systems (7 MW) to other clients. Possible clients in addition to EWR GmbH could be Stadtwerke Remscheid GmbH or a cooperation of municipal utilities from the Bergisches Land.
