The client operates the Saarland Online School (OSS). This teaching-learning platform includes identity management and offers students and teachers a course area through which working materials and interactive learning activities can be provided. The Saarland online school is connected to the mediation service for digital identity management in schools (VIDIS), which is used to connect external services. The learning platform is compatible with all devices and can be used both in class and when learning from home. Access occurs online through the respective browser of the corresponding end devices (PCs and mobile devices). Around 303 schools currently use the educational platform. It has found its way into everyday life in many schools as a standard and regulatory tool for designing digital teaching and learning arrangements.
