PRE-QUALIFICATION OF EPC CONTRACTORS FOR PLANT DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING UNDER TANESCO TRANSMISSION GRID REHABILITATION AND UPGRADE PROJECT (TTGRUP) FOR REHABILITATION AND UPGRADE OF TELECOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND SCADA / EMS SYSTEM
INVITATION FOR PRE - QUALIFICATION

1. The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) through the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received and obtained financing from the French Development Agency (AFD) to Rehabilitate and / or Upgrade the TANESCO Electricity Grid Network.
2. TANESCO therefore, intends to pre-qualify contractors and / or firms for design, manufacturing / supply, delivery, demolition, construction, disassembling, field erection, testing, provision of spare parts, commissioning, placing in successful commercial operation, training, TANESCO Grid Rehabilitation and Upgrade Project.
3. The Scope of Work involves: -
Rehabilitation and Upgrade of Telecommunication Equipment and SCADA / EMS System.
4. Pre-qualification will be conducted by the International Competitive Bidding System as part of the Public Procurement Regulations, -Government Notice 446 of 2013 Read together with Public Procurement (Amendment) Regulations GN No. 333 of 2016 and is open to all applicants defined in the regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenders may be obtained from Tanning Board, TANESCO Umeme Park Building, Floor Floor, Tender Room, Room No.G04, Ubungo area, along Morogoro
