The content of this award is early preliminary measures in 2027 for the general renovation of the high-performance corridor (GSH) Frankfurt-Heidelberg, the so-called "Main-Neckar Railway" (route 3601), in 2030. These preliminary measures are early due to urgent technical needs to ensure the operational safety of the route until the GSH project is realized. The services extend over the sections from Langen in the north to Heppenheim in the south. There is a three-week period for service provision in these sections Total closure of route 3601 and a total weekend closure of route 3688 ("S-Bahn route") are available. During this time, the following measures should be carried out: - 1:1 - replacement of a thick sheet metal bridge (54 m2) - work on a total of six culverts (3x 1:1 - replacement, 2x piping, 1x dismantling) - 1:1 - Replacement of approx. 700 m of superstructure as well as maintenance work on three bridges, 4.1 km of tracks and six switches.
