Expression of Interest are invited for Pre-Financing for the Upgrade and Pavements of Roads .

1.0 BACKGROUND
1.1 The Government of Liberia, acting by and through the Ministry of Public Works, has decided to turn to private sector involvement in fostering the Government’s Pro Poor Agenda through road connectivity.
1.2 Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Works invites proposals for the implementation of road projects through Pre-Financing
1.3 The Government of the Republic of Liberia, through the Ministry of Public Works, now invites interested and experienced International and National firms with the requisite financial, technical capacity and portfolio to implement these projects.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project is a Pre-Financing of upgrade and pavements of the below roads divided into lots:
I. Lot 1. Medina to Robertsport (41.3 KM)
II. Lot 2. Totota-Bonota-Phebe (90 KM)
III. Lot 3. Chicken Soup Factory Road – from Somalia Drive to
Johnsonville (4.1 KM)
IV. Lot 4. Caldwell-Croizerville-Fendell (30 KM)
V. Lot 5. Tubmanburg to Bopolu (52 KM)
VI. Lot 6. Belle Yalla to Bopolu (75 KM)
VII. Lot 7. New Georgia to Bassa Town Road
VIII. Lot 8. Kolahun to Vahun (68 KM)
IX. Lot 9. Zwedru to Greenville (184 KM)
X. Lot 10. Pleebo to Barclayville (75 KM)
XI. Lot 11. Buchanan to Cestos City (85 KM)
XII. Lot 12. Cestos Junction to Greenville (141 KM)

EVALUATION CRITERIA
Firms are hereby invited to submit proposals that meet the following requirements:
? A brief profile of the firm in narrative form, to include, the management and key staff;
? Last 3 years Audited Financial Statements;
? Company’s profile, to include, names of directors/proprietors, articles of incorporation, contact details, contact persons and business ownership;
? The firm should have been in existence and operating under appropriate legal status for a minimum of five (5) years;
