The Museum of Hamburg History at Holstenwall 24 in Hamburg was built between 1914 and 1922 and is a listed building. As part of the current construction project, the building will be extensively renovated as well as reorganized and modernized the exhibition and functional areas. At the same time, the technical building equipment will be completely renewed in order to ensure the future requirements for museum operations, energy requirements and conservation conditions. The building will supplied via a central main building distribution (GHV) in the basement. The meter distribution will be rebuilt as part of the renovation work. Two meter units will be provided for the museum and the restaurant. The areas are supplied via approx. 28 newly built and approx. 24 existing local sub-distributions, which are fed in a star shape from the main building distribution. The existing sub-distributions will be renewed and reconnected accordingly. The lines are on Cable routes laid or attached to the ceilings using busbars. In the exhibition rooms, cables are routed in raised floors or in closed cable ducts. The lighting system will also be renewed.
