Tenders are invited for Plant Design, Supply and Installation of 110/30kv Bugesera Industrial Park Substation
1 110/30kV, 24/30MVA Power Transformer No 2
2 Complete 110kV Outdoor lines and Transformer bays No 6
3 30kV Double Busbar Indoor GIS Switchgears No 12
4 AC and DC Auxiliary Supply set 1
5 Control Building and Operator Living house lot 1
Period: 18 Months

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Energy Development and
Corporation Limited, Christine UWAJENEZA (cuwajeneza@edcl.reg.rw) and/ or Gervais
NDAYISABA (gndayisaba@edcl.reg.rw) and inspect the bidding document during office
hours 0900 to 1700 at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon
the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a
nonrefundable fee of Fifty US Dollars (USD 50.00). The method of payment will be by a
direct payment into the Bank Account N° 1000057734 in USD, (Swift Code: BNRWRWRW)
held with National Bank of Rwanda in the name of EDCL EAQIP IDA Designated Account.
The document will be sent by e-mail from procurement@edcl.reg.rw copied to
cuwajeneza@edcl.reg.rw and gndayisaba@edcl.reg.rw.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 28/03/2024 at 10:30a.m local
time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be
publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders- designated representatives and anyone who
chooses to attend at the address below on 28/03/2024 at 11:00a.m, Local time.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as follows:
Lot 1: Two Hundred Nineteen Thousand US Dollars ( USD 219, 000)
