Planning services for the Kulturhof Steinbach (Taunus) implementation competition The competition covers the areas of planning buildings and interior spaces. The subject of the competition is the architectural redesign, expansion and conversion of the buildings in the Kirchgasse/Bornhohl area owned by the city of Steinbach (Taunus). The aim is to develop a high-quality, economical and sustainable overall architectural concept for a so-called “cultural courtyard” that meets the functional needs Meets the sponsor's requirements and responds sensitively to the historical context. The competition is advertised as a single-stage, restricted implementation competition with a preceding EEA-wide application process with 15 participants (RPW § 3). When implementing the project, one of the award winners must be commissioned with further planning services (HOAI 2021 § 34 LPH 2 - 5) in consideration of the recommendation of the jury, unless there is an important reason for this assignment conflicts. Following the planning competition, a negotiation process without a participation competition will be carried out with all winners of the competition in accordance with Section 14 Paragraph 4 Item 8 VgV.
